Our Story
Once upon a brisket, in the heart of Austin, our co-owner, Hue Pham, stumbled upon Franklin BBQ—a smoky, saucy slice of heaven. Determined to share this taste of Texas with Baton Rouge, where BBQ dreams were only a whisper, our journey began. After years of learning Texas’s BBQ craft, Hue paired up with his childhood best friend, Tuan Pham, and started up Offset Smoker BBQ’s food truck. They started working events like Pointe Marie, Night Market, Pelican to Mars, and 225Fest. Finally, in June 2024, they decided to open Offset Smoker BBQ’s brick and mortar. Now, we're firing up flavors hotter than Louisiana summers and serving up smiles thicker than our ribs. Come taste what happens when Austin meets Baton Rouge—it's a love story you can sink your teeth into!
